Excellent tall Antique Oak Clerks Desk.  Could equally serve as a Lectern or Reception Desk. Dating from c1900 with Arts & Crafts Detailing this is an extremely well made piece of solid oak furniture.  Lift up centre sloped writing surface has original brass lever lock (with key).  To the left hand side are four drawers with original brass handles and "tower" shaped escutcheons.  To the right hand side is a shelved cupboard with original locks and brassware (with key). The front and back of the desk are boldly panelled.  A excellent and practical piece of period oak furniture.
