A very nice Antique Victorian Pine Writing Desk on Stand.  This fine desk is in two parts.  The writing or reading slope/desk and the stand which supports it.  The slope/desk has a hinged lid with lock and key and a simple interior with useful shelf to the rear.  The slope itself has a ledge to hold paperwork, books etc to stop them sliding off.  The slope/desk fits neatly into the pine stand to form a secure and solid structure.

This fine Antique Victorian Pine Writing Desk on Stand could serve a variety of uses.  It could be used as a display structure for a large book or manuscript which can be read while standing up or it could be used as a desk or writers slope or artists slope with the addition of a tall chair or stool.
