An Antique Mahogany Library Table with four drawers dating from the mid-Victorian period.  Also known as a Partners' Writing Table this particular piece has four working drawers and is a useful 5ft by 2.5ft size (12.5 square feet of working space).  With a hand embossed green leather writing surface and crossbanded top with attractive curved corners this Antique Mahogany Library table has many original features including original brass cup castors and wheels. 

If this Antique Library Table was being chosen to complement an Antique Desk of similar style then it would be possible to re-colour the leather writing surface so that two items matched more closely to provide an excellent overall work space in home or office.  Overall a very nice piece of Antique Office Furniture.

• Two twin-handled frieze drawers to both the front and the rear elevations
• Plain polished side frieze
• Hand embossed green leather writing surface inset to the crossbanded top
• Hand-cut dovetail joints to the drawers
• Ring, ball and baluster turned legs, terminating with their original brass cup castors
• Original brass twin bolt locks to the drawers, with circular brass keyhole escutcheons
• Twin turned wooden knob handles to all drawers.
