A beautifully proportioned Antique Mahogany Writing Table. W33 3006 is a smaller twin drawer Victorian Mahogany Writing Table dating from around 1860.  This excellent Antique Writing Table has twin drawers and a fine black hide writing surface set into the polished mahogany top and high quality original features such as the brass wheeled castors and brass drawer locks.  The ball, baluster and ring turned legs are typical of the mid Victorian period and ensure that this is a  sturdy, practical piece of furniture as well as a particularly handsome one as well.  Suitable for a variety of uses, this genuine Antique Victorian Mahogany Writing Table could stand alone in a study, office, den or hallway, or, perhaps, complement a larger Antique Desk from the same period to provide more extensive work space.  A fine piece of Antique Office Furniture.

• Cock-beaded twin drawers, each with a pair of turned wooden knob handles
• Faded black leather inset to the moulded edge top, with rounded corners
• Twin lines of tooling to the leather writing surface
• Plain polished rear and side elevations
• Hand-cut dovetail joints to the oak lined drawers
• Original wheeled castors in brass
• Ball, baluster and ring turned tapering legs
• Brass drawer locks, stamped with crown symbol and 'VR'
• Brass keyhole liners to the drawer locks.
