A very pretty late Victorian one-piece desk in oak, with seven drawers:

• Black leather inset to the moulded edge top, with gold tooling and corner stamps

• Good quality solid brass handles with pierced backplates

• Brass lever locks to all drawers

• Every drawer mahogany lines, with corner dust mouldings

• Three graduated drawers to both flanks of a large central drawer

• Handmade dovetail joints to all drawers

• Attractively decorated and panelled side and rear elevations

• Turned legs ending in brass castors with black porcelain wheels.
