Our comprehensive stock of over 50 antique desks, antique writing tables and antique writing desks is located in new premises in a pleasant rural location, about three miles from the centre of the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury, Kent, UK - just over an hour from London and most other South East locations via the M2 or M20 motorways or the new high speed rail link.

Lynda and David Lawrence, Directors of Lawpan Limited (www.lawpan.com) a specialist antiques company, bought Antiquedesks.net in early 2009 and re-located the business to Canterbury. The aims of the business remain the same as those of its founder, Don Spencer and subsequent owner Steve Campbell - to present a wide range of antique desks, antique writing tables and antique writing desks, offering excellent quality and value for money.  Antiquedesks.net is committed to high standards of trading practice and the provision of good quality genuine antique furniture. All of our stock of antique desks, antique writing tables and antique writing desks are genuine antiques and we do not include reproduction items. Any necessary restoration has been professionally carried out to a very high standard. . Since we prefer to retain as much originality and character as possible during restoration one might find the odd indentation or mark consistent with the age of the item, so please don't expect new looking antiques.  In many instances we have researched the history, or have documented provenance, of a particular desk or table and all the relevant documentation will be supplied to the new owner at the time of purchase.
