• Traditional nine drawer front elevation, with extensive inlay work and crossbanding
• Excellent original locks with working keys to all drawers, by Hobbs & Co of London
• Handmade dovetail joints to the mahogany lined drawers
• Original tan leather writing surface with good patination
• The leather inset to the crossbanded, moulded edge top
• Blind embossed work and gold tooling to the inset leather
• Brass keyhole liners to the drawer locks
• Boxwood, ebony and kingwood crossbanding to all elevations
• Original brass handles to all drawers
• Ebony cockbeading to all drawers
• Plain polished rear and side elevations, with crossbanding
• Simple D-shaped moulding to the pedestal front edges
• Ogee moulded feet to the pedestals (some replacement)
• Brass castors with brown porcelain wheels
• Dust corner mouldings to the mahogany lined drawer interiors
