An unusual Victorian twin pedestal desk in teak, with the advantage of 28" (71cm) height to the kneehole and a panelled rear elevation making the desk suitable for freestanding locations:

FEATURES

• Four drawers to the right-hand pedestal, with a cupboard to the left
• Working brass lever lock and brass keyhole liner to the top drawer, with key
• Removable central shelf to the cupboard
• Handmade dovetail joints to the teak lined drawers
• Faded parchment coloured leather inset to the writing surface, with patination
• The leather inset with gold tooling and embossed work
• Moulded edge to the top
• Arched figured teak panel to the cupboard door, with turned knob handle
• Rear elevation with matching arched panels to both pedestals
• Panelled inner and outer sides to both pedestals
• Bracket feet to the pedestal plinths.
