An unusual Victorian twin pedestal desk in teak,
with the advantage of 28" (71cm) height to the kneehole and a panelled rear
elevation making the desk suitable for freestanding locations:

with a cupboard to the left
- Working brass lever lock and brass keyhole
liner to the top drawer, with key
- Removable central shelf to the cupboard
- Handmade dovetail joints to the teak lined drawers
- Faded parchment coloured leather inset to the writing surface, with
patination
- The leather inset with gold tooling and
embossed work
- Moulded edge to the top
- Arched figured teak panel to the cupboard
door, with turned knob handle
- Rear elevation with matching arched panels
to both pedestals
- Panelled inner and outer sides to both
pedestals
- Bracket feet to the pedestal plinths.
