A LOT of desk for the money!!  Wonderfully original Victorian Mahogany Writing Desk c1890.  Many features typical of the more elaborate writing desks of this period including the raised structure with miniature pedestals with drawers, a raised rear gallery, distinctive brass handles and the cruciform shaped leather writing surface to the break front main level.  With each main pedestal containing two drawers and an under tray/shelf all supported on beautifully turned legs and original castors with brown porcelain wheels this is a great example of the best quality writing furniture of the period.  Original brass handles and locks throughout (stamped with a crown and VR).
