This is a stunning example of an Antique Oak Dickens Writing Desk dating from the later Victorian period, C1880.  It has the characteristic features of a Dickens Writing Desk with twin pedestals, supporting a superstructure and three separate tooled green leather inset writing surfaces.   This desk has retained its original brass handles to all 16 drawers and rare brass candle holders.  This genuine Antique Oak Dickens Writing Desk is highly original and has a wonderful fitted interior with a further two oak drawers. 

Surprisingly practical - a laptop can fit easily on (and inside) the central working surface - this Dickens Writing Desk could feature in a home office, study, hallway or sitting room and offers a wealth of useful storage space as well as being a handsome piece of historic furniture.
