An Antique Victorian Walnut Writing Table. Twin working drawers each with carved wooden handles over excellent walnut veneered fronts.  Crossbanded top.  Older good quality green embossed leather writing surface recently re-waxed and in superb order.  Original Victorian brass lever locks stamped with Crown and VR.  Original brass castors with brown porcelain wheels.  Castors stamped Cope and Collinson Patent (Cope and Collinson produced very high quality brassware in the period). Slender turned and tapered legs with carving and reeded decoration.  Overall this is an excellent high quality table in very good order and elegant proportions Ideally suited for use as a smaller writing table or extra work space with a larger partners or pedestal desk.
