A rare example of an original Antique Oak Writing Table by Globe Wernicke dating from the early 20th Century.  This particular Antique Writing Table has twin drawers with original  wooden handles and splendid detailing to the legs and stretcher - all in the later Arts and Crafts style.  The original Globe Wernicke (London) label survives inside the right hand drawer (see gallery photo). This is a very substantial table made from solid oak with a wonderful patina. The table has been fully professionally wax polished by an expert in this field.  We have tried to retain as much of the original character and patina of this table as possible.   A very handsome Antique Oak Writing Table that could serve a number of practical purposes.  It could be used as a standalone table in a study, office, hallway  alternatively alongside an Antique Desk of similar age and style giving extra work space.
