A very pretty twin-drawer classic early Antique Writing Table in Mahogany dating from around 1800. ** Note that this table appears to have been the subject of an older (quality) restoration dating from around 1900.  This is evidenced by the black rexine writing surface and work to the handles and castors. We have priced this table to reflect this earlier restoration - nonetheless this table is a very good example of its type and is of a very popular and practical size with a wonderful patina.

• Early Antique Mahogany Writing Table - c1800 with later restoration
• Thumbnail moulded edge to the table top, with rounded corners
• Beautiful patina and colouring to the polished mahogany surfaces
• Two well figured drawers to the frieze, with handmade dovetail joints, and mouldings to the front
• Turned wooden knob handles to the drawers
• Mahogany drawer linings
• Ring turned tapering legs
• Brass lever locks and brass escutcheons
• Brass castors with brown porcelain wheels
• Replacement black rexine polished writing surface dating from early 1900's.
