A handsome Large Pedestal Desk.  George VI.  Extremely high quality, solid oak construction. It is fully panelled on all sides (rear and inside/outside of each pedestal). Rarely found in this eleven working drawer configuration. Each drawer with brass swan neck handles. Hand cut dovetail joints to the drawers.  Excellent size, colour and proportions  Panelled sides makes this a particularly handsome desk from all angles - it can be sat in the middle of a room or against a wall.  This desk has known history and excellent provenance.
