A fine Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk.  Medium size and dating from the early Victorian period. It has an excellent older red tooled leather writing surface inset into the moulded top.  Very good colour and proportions. Each pedestal has three graduated drawers.  There are a further three frieze drawers. Turned wooden handles and brass lever locks with key.  Concealed wheeled castors.  This antique desk is in the usual pedestal desk configuration of three pieces i.e. two pedestals and the top, for ease of transportation.  Good history and known provenance with a titled previous owner.
