A traditional Antique Walnut Pedestal Desk.  This pedestal desk dates from the Edwardian period and is of the popular 5ft by 3ft size. Bears paper label reading Wm Richardson (Furnisher) Ltd, 143/145 The Headrow, Leeds 1 and their stock number L41188.  Rectangular top with gadrooned edging inset with original red leather writing surface. Eight drawers (one drawer being a double height ledger drawer).  The pedestals having panelled sides and rear and raised on four shell carved cabriole supports terminating in ball and claw feet.
