An Antique Medium Sized Mahogany Pedestal Desk.  This pedestal desk dates from the Edwardian period and is made from a rich shade of mahogany with plain polished sides and rear.  Each pedestal has a plinth base and the desk has the classic nine drawer front elevation.  With brass swan neck handles and an embossed dark green leather writing surface with gilding this is a particularly handsome pedestal desk in the very popular 5ftx3ft size and suitable for a home office, study or work area or indeed a business looking for a genuine piece of Antique Office Furniture.

Please note that this desk carries our ** designation. This denotes that the desk has been modified or repaired in the past (likely mid 20thC).  Our expert restorers have completely checked this desk and it is now in absolutely sound and excellent condition.  Nonetheless we are obliged to mention the earlier work and we have priced the desk accordingly.  It is now excellent value for money!
