An Antique Large Mahogany Pedestal Desk.  This Victorian twin-pedestal desk is in rich mahogany with a beautiful green embossed leather writing surface and brass swan neck handles to the drawers.  In addition, to a spacious kneehole aperture, this desk also has a  double-depth ledger drawers for filing in each pedestal.

• Traditional nine drawer appearance to the front elevation, with two dummy drawers (see double height filing drawers below)
• Two graduated drawers to both pedestals, with three drawers across the front frieze
• One double-depth filing or ledger drawer to each pedestal
• Excellent quality faded green leather writing surface inset to the moulded edge top
• Hand embossed work to the leather, with corner stamp detail
• Hand-cut dovetail joints to all of the scratch-stock moulded drawers
• Oak linings to the drawers
• Brass swan-neck handles, back plates and keyhole liners to all drawers
• Pedestals raised on plinth bases
• Spacious kneehole aperture and especially large centre drawer
