A very high quality 18 drawer Antique Mahogany Partners Desk, with identical drawer configuration to both front and rear elevations.  This Partners' Desk dates from the Victorian period, c1880, and is in stunning fully restored condition with a wonderful rich golden mahogany colour and a high quality replacement green leather writing surface. The classic 18 drawer Antique Partners' Desk It is one of most sought after desks of its type. The high quality of this desk is exemplified by the mother of pearl inserts into each of the turned wooden drawer handles.  This desk comes with working locks and keys.

This Antique Mahogany Partners Desk is of  "medium" size - hence it will fit in a wide range of locations with ease and yet its overall proportions and colour make it an impressive and handsome desk from all angles and an excellent example of Antique Victorian Office Furniture.

• Graduated drawers to both pedestals, with a wide central drawer on each side in the centre
• Quality one-piece green hide writing surface inset into the cross-banded top
• Embossed work to the leather
• Moulded edge to the top
• Hand-cut dovetail joints to the drawers, each drawer with cockbeading
• Twin turned wooden handles to the drawers - each with a central inlay of mother of pearl
• Working brass lever locks with keys and brass keyhole liners
• Note that the rear elevation of the desk has locks to the top drawers alone, the rear pedestal drawers do not have keyholes/locks but are identical in all other respects to the front drawers.
